Baby S: Another day, another cycle
Posted by: Devyl GyrlSo, yet another day has gone by, and Baby S has completed a full cycle of ups and downs. Earlier today she was *really* sick. The doctors were worried about her, and she had to stay in PICU, despite all attempts and hopes to move her to a “normal” room.
However, she is now on the correct antibiotics for her bladder infection. The problem is, her temperatures keep spiking, so she still has to remain in the hospital. C is very upset: she misses her other three kids that live at home with her, and misses being able to talk to her soon (who lives with his Dad in another state). She knows she’s where she needs to be right now, but it is *really* hard being so far away from everyone else. And this time, I cannot even pop in to bring her a Wendy’s sweet tea or a frosty or french fries or brownies … *sigh*
Anyway. Baby S is doing better now. The antibiotics are working. Just the fevers are reoccurant, therefore, no moving to a “normal” room … and no moving home.
One especially good thing to share though:
Baby S was full of smiles late this evening. Finally.

I am happy to hear about some recovery, Thank G-D. Hopefully, her fever will break and she can be moved to another room. I continue to keep all of you in my prayers.
