Thursday Thirteen: Things That Thrill (NaBloPoMo #6)

1. **HOPEFULLY** I will be meeting my @OBFF in December, if my plans work out properly!
2. Tween is already feeling better tonight (darvocet for pain helps immensely)!
3. Baby S is on the upswing in the “big scheme of things” … she starts chemo tonight (round 1 of the 4 post-chemo rounds she must complete).
4. I’m gonna meet my friend K! I’m taking a week’s vacation … it is a working vacation, (so I’ll be getting paid to work, and will not lose out on a paycheck) AND it will be in a city I and state I have not had the pleasure of knowing before.
5. Did I mention I’m going to Boston but will hopefully meet my OBFF on the way?
6. I helped someone today that will not ever know who did it, why, or how. It did not cost me a cent, but the benefits will continue on for a long time to come.
7. My BFF finally decided to try selling her cross-stitched projects on Ebay (I hope she can sell them - she’s always wanted to do this).
8. My roommate is having success with something new she is trying: I *love* when the people I care about are doing well!
9. Obama won the election yesterday.
10. Have I told you yet that I am hoping I will be meeting my @OBFF on my way to Boston to meet my good friend K (I wonder how I can shrink the size TX so that I can meet my Ladybug at the same time???)?
11. I heard from an old friend I was very worried about, and things have taken a turn for the better in BIG WAYS … said friend is much happier, far healthier, and very much in tune with reality!
12. My friend G is celebrating his first wedding anniversary this month … and his first cancer-free year in more than 10 years!
13. I CAN’T WAIT TO MEET MY OBFF AND K!!!

I’m glad you have so many things to be happy about! If Ebay doesn’t work for C, you should tell her to set up her own store on Etsy.com, she would probably have really good luck there!
I wish I was the K you were meeting in your travels.
*sigh* someday….

I *did* look for a way to make the flight through Vegas. The airlines didn’t take too kindly on that though *L*
We’ll meet. I’m going to eventually go back out and visit my grandparents. I’ll just plan on a hop over to Vegas from there!
