Personality by Dessert?
Posted by: Devyl GyrlIf all of the eight desserts listed below were sitting in front of you, which would you choose (sorry, you can only pick one). List your choice in the comments, and I’ll answer in a day or two with your “personality” reading.
I find it works best if you make a quick decision. When you deliberate, it skews the results!

Wow, that’s a tough one.. only one? I guess if I had to choose, it would be brownies. I can’t want to hear what that means about me;)

I would pick Carrot Cake IF it had cream cheese icing… if not, the brownie. See, I never play by the rules. My choice, last answer, is Carrot Cake.

OMG, so I am a pain the the tuchas… my favorite dessert is not on there… so I choose none!!!
Now, if you had Creme Brulee’ on the list… oh Chica, that would make me moist

Curmudgeon time, as usual:
1) I HATE “favorite” questions. My favorite dessert depends on what I had for dinner, what wines I drank, what dessert wines are available to go with, whether it is cold or hot outside, whether I am eating inside or outside, what is fresh and in season, etc. It might be a cheese plate, it might be triple chocolate death, it might be mango with sticky rice and coconut syrup. All “What is your favorite XXX?” questions are bullshit by their very nature. End of sermon.
2) This is an extremely limited and pedestrian list. Even when I was 4 years old, my favorite was lemon cake with lemon icing, which isn’t on here.
3) If I absolutely must pick, I’ll pick brownies, but ONLY on the condition that they are moist warm fudge brownies. A hunk of dry cake that is called a brownie is not a brownie, it is a travesty.
4) So there.

My first instinct is to choose chocolate cake with chocolate icing. This was confirmed when I was faced with brownies, chocolate chip cookies, banana bread, and a moist chocolate cake with chocolate icing this weekend. I went for the cake *twice*. (shifty eyes)
