Baby S Back to Hospital …

Author: Devyl Gyrl / Category: Baby S, Friends / Family

Well, we had a great evening with Baby S at home last night. She was cuddly and sweet and snuggled in my arms all night long (til I had to give her up to the crib anyway). It worried us, because like any normal baby, she usually wants to move around a lot more. I noticed a few times she appeared to have a bit of a fever (it was come and go - literally would last a minute or so), but the thermometer was reading her at normal the various times we checked (and, we checked A LOT).

Today, Baby S is back at the hospital, with a 100.8 degree fever. Not high, I understand. For a baby on Chemo, this could mean something detrimental. We are still holding out hope for “nothing” being wrong … but it looks like she’ll be in the hospital all weekend. That means when I leave work today, I’ll be back at the hospital … and I’ll spend the night, come home early in the morning for work, then go back again in the afternoon. With an hour drive each way, I just hope we’re able to get some sleep tonight or I’ll be hurting (it is 40 minutes or so on a highway with NOTHING to see but trees).

Once again, we ask for your (continued and renewed) prayers, positive thoughts, positive vibes, and love.

I will keep you updated as I find out any information.

xoxo
