I am crazy busy, moving boxes from the rental house I have been sharing with my roommates to my brand new (to me & tween) third-floor apartment up in Crestview. WOOHOOO!

The apartment smells like dog. Apparently I’ll have to find something to put on the carpets, because they said they’ve treated the carpet twice and the smell still is not gone. Any suggestions for a good carpet treatment?

On the other hand, it is cute. My room on one side, Tween’s on the other. Small dining area and living area and tiny kitchen between. We DO Have a full-size laundry room (meaning it is an actual small narrow room with space for a full-size washer and full-size dryer). THAT is fabulous, and since water is part of the deal with the apartment, I will definitely have to find a washer and dryer and haul them up here!

It also has a balcony, so i want to get a folding table and chairs for out there, and maybe one comfy chair with a cushion for reading. I prefer to read outside in the shade, but I like to do it curled up on something soft and comfy!

We have a storage room out on the balcony area, too, so NO PAYING FOR STORAGE! WOOOT!

I went bargain hunting for items we need (dining table, shower curtains) and found some cute stuff. If I can earn enough on this painting job, I’ll definitely be getting them.

That’s about it for today. I am in a total rush trying to get this posted because I am still not online with my own computer.
