Have you thanked a soldier, sailor, or airman lately?

Those of you who have known me for a while know that I have many friends and family members in the service. Some have died, some have been injured, and some come home safely. No matter what part they play, no matter how much of their lives they give, and no matter how much distance is between us … I want them all to know I appreciate their part in keeping our country safe.

I do not agree with all of the political aspects of the war, but this has no bearing on the fact that I appreciate the men and women who dedicate their lives to keeping our nation safe and secure. THEY do not necessarily agree with what they are sent to do, but they do it.

There are hundreds of ways to participate in thanking a soldier (sailor/airman). Find one.
