New Acronym? (#105/365)

Author: Devyl Gyrl / Category: Blog365, Goodness

I hope you enjoyed browsing the blog I crammed down your throat mentioned introduced you to yesterday. I giggle every time I think of one of those posts, and THAT makes me happy. See, I am actually quite easy. (shhh)

How does that relate to this post? I am getting there. Give me a second! Quit being so pushy curious.

In one of their earlier posts, Jack says “BFF” … and it made me tilt my head and read the sentence a few times. It just seems … wrong. Men should not have BFFs. Why? I do not know. Because I said so, dammit -quit questioning me!

So, after reading this blog post, I have decided that when a man - especially those that lean towards the metrosexual spectrum of manliness* - refers to his long-time closest friend, he should call him a BMF. Best Man Friend.

Yes, I understand the humor in having “BM” in this acronym. I think that adds to the manliness.

That is all.

No, wait. Did any of you read as far back as I did? (You have to read this post. Oh, and, *wipes tears away,* this one too. Now that I have gone to the beginning of the blog and read THIS POST [a must-read], I realize this is where I left off when I tried to read the whole blog the first time. I was only a few posts shy of finishing at the time, but did not realize.) Because, I read *most* of their posts. I cannot say all, for I am sure I skipped one or two a dozen or more. In one of their posts, Jill mentioned the hall closet box that held her miscellaneous items she left strewn about Jack’s apartment carefully placed where she could find them again. In this post (it has been mentioned more than once, I believe), she says “after 3 months,” and I became curious. To what, exactly, does that three months refer? The three months they had been together at that point? Or, the three months she had been nagging him ceaselessly* asking him to please throw away the items that did not belong to her?

The reason I wonder these things is this: Are they really that in sync after just three months of dating? If so, I swear they are a match made in NCHoF.

xoxo

P.S. Jack & Jill: I kid, I swear! The two of you just crack me the hell up.

P.P.S. I promise I will try to leave you alone now. My stalker habit mild curiosity is going to be curbed. Promise.
