Or … lovin’ summer 
I was thinking, yesterday, as I drove by my favorite local water park several times, that it would be a great day to be out there, enjoying the lazy river! I will not be buying season tickets this year, but I hope maybe we’ll get to go towards the end of summer at least. Although I do not particularly like the slides and whatnot any longer, the kids LOVE them. And i love to watch them! Baby S would have so much fun in the kiddie pool areas, hanging out and splashing. Lil K is big enough to ride some of the smaller slides this year … Lil C would not be afraid to go on the big slides anymore. Funny, how you can measure a child’s maturity with his or her reaction to just one activity.
The greatest thing about where I live, though, is the beautiful beaches. White, sugary sand and emerald green waters. Standing on a bridge and seeing the fish below as clear as day. Floating down the Destin Pass, just letting the current carry you. Putting on a mask and snorkel and looking for money in the sandy bottom. Building shimmery white sandcastles. Remembering doing all of these things 20ish years ago when I was my child’s age. Ahhh, yes … we are *so* due for a trip to the beach. Who’s coming??
