Are you a brand snob?
I do not *try* to be, but I found this word association in my email, and laughed at my results.
What brand do you think of when you hear the following, and is it because you actually BUY that brand, or just associate that brand because you have been inundated with a multitude of advertising?
Hot dogs :-: Nathan’s (no)
Relish :-: Claussen, of course (YES!!)
Potato Chips :-: Mission Tortilla chips (when I can find them, YES)
Pasta :-: Barilla (yes)
Bread :-: Wonderbread (no)
Mayonnaise :-: Hellmann’s (yes)
Soda :-: Coke (no)
Burgers :-: Five Guys (nope, haven’t been there ever)
Lotion :-: Jergens Shea Butter (yes) and Aveeno (yes)
Shampoo :-: Aveeno (yes - first time I’ve tried this one!)
Perfume :-: Estee Lauder Pleasures Exotic (mmmmmmm - YES)
Photographs :-: Olan Mills (nope)
Television :-: Sanyo (yes, but … it just happened to be the one on sale)
I think I migh be a brand snob … dangit!
