I spent the morning and early afternoon helping out with BFF’s daycare kids. We had a great day … in fact, the ONLY two kids to cause any trouble were BFF’s older two who were with me! Talk about insane.
We had craft time, made spaghetti for lunch, did naptime (storytime first, though!), outside play time, and …. I am sure there was more, but … I cannot remember. Whew those kids wear you out fast!
BFF’s son, Lil C, paid me a HUGE compliment though. “Aunt [Devyl], I don’t even like spaghetti, but I DO like yours. This is good. It has better seasonings and flavors than Moms. This is so good!” That, coming from a boy who asks for his noodles plain, or perhaps with ranch dressing, is saying a lot. Thanks Lil C for making my morning/lunchtime. Love you!
