Random Thoughts and Musings

Often I hear “What would you like for … [insert Mother’s Day, Birthday, Christmas, and random other gift-y days here]?”

Well, now nobody has to ask. Just come to this page, choose a gift, and send (or don’t send, depending on the gift).

These gifts are NOT listed in any particular order of preference. I am just adding them as they come to mind!

A Flickr Pro Acct: $25.00/1yr or $48/2yrs

Why? Two reasons:
~ I have hundreds of photos I need to get to the right people. However, I can only have 200 in my Flickr account until I’ve upgraded to Pro, which means I can’t leave pictures up for people for more than a week … if they don’t grab them by then, I’ve already deleted them again. And as we all know, times are busy and people just don’t get around to it in a week.
~ I have a couple of hundred random photos I’d like to share with friends and family. Unfortunately, it will take months to get all of the other pictures I have of events to the right people before I can start sharing the pretty pics I took of the scenery in Jamaica & Cali.

A couple of 4-packs of Energizer NH15BP-4 Rechargeable NiMH Batteries: $10-15/4pk

Why?
~I love taking pictures with my digital camera. I have a great camera, and want to learn more about it … but if the batteries I have lose their charge, I have to wait til they are charged again to play. This usually results in the camera being put down for weeks at a time because I keep forgetting to charge the ONE set I have!
~That reminds me … I’d really like to get out to the beach soon, before it gets crowded, and snap some shots!

Lap Dawg laptop tray: $130.00

Why? Because I like to sit in my big, comfy chair and use my laptop. Whether I’m chatting, doing schoolwork, browsing the net, or looking up random information, I prefer to do it all from my living room chair (and occasionally from my bed, if I’m watching movies or reading books online). I know it is better for me to sit at a table or desk … but I do that all day. At home, I want to be comfortable.
